Lead Shot is the perfect ballast material, which lends itself to many properties. Think, for example, of stabilizing a ship or machines or as a counterweight for cranes and bridges.
Because lead granules (also called lead shot) are very fine, it is easy and handy to pack in bags of 10 & 20 kg. Of course, we can also deliver it in Big Bags. And all this throughout Norway, Sweden and Denmark and at the touch of a button.
Lead granules, with a diameter of approximately 3 mm per granule, are a very fine and easy-to-handle product. Due to the high density and high specific weight of this product, it is ideal for weighing down your object.
The specific gravity of lead shot is 6800 kg/m3. For smaller quantities, you can easily calculate with 6.8 kg/litre.
